• Asphyxiation (smoke, carbon, carbon monoxide)
• Global charring mostly of the torso, upper extremities and head with mutilation
• Advanced postmortem decomposition mostly of the pelvis and lower extremities
• No evidence of gunshot wounds
• Cause of death:
  • Inhalation of smoke and carbon monoxide due to fire
  • Extensive charring

• The autopsy does not include an estimate of the time of death.

• Identified Branch Davidians From April 19 Fire … Joseph Martinez died of smoke and carbon monoxide inhalation.  His body was found inside the bunker.  His body was identified from dental records.  He was 8 years old.
