Summary: The autopsy report states:

• Suffocation

Comment:

• The date of the autopsy is obviously in error.  The cover page says "7th day of April 1993," but the incident that allegedly killed this child did not happen until April 19, 1993.  According to Page 3, the examination took place on May 7, 1993.
• Compare the condition of this body with MC Doe 54, Juliet Martinez.  The official cause of death and disposition of remains was similarly described.  Yet Juliet was "well preserved" while Audrey was "badly decomposed."
• The autopsy does not include an estimate of the time of death.

II. The FBI's October 8, 1993 Report to the Deputy Attorney General on the Events at Waco, Texas (cached)

Summary and Comment: The DOJ Report states:

• Identified Branch Davidians From April 19 Fire … Audrey Martinez was buried alive inside the bunker.  She died of suffocation.  She was identified from dental records.  She was 13 years old.

Summary and Comment: The Inquest Certificate states:

• Cause of death:
  • Suffocation due to overlay and burial in structural collapse
  • Global charring
• Manner of death:
  • Pending investigation
