Comment:
- The autopsy cover sheet erroneously states the autopsy was conducted on April 5, 1993, but pg. 3 dates the autopsy May 5, 1993.
- The autopsists note indications of skull fractures from shrapnel (pg. 4), yet assign the death to smoke inhalation.
- The autopsy does not include an estimate of the time of death.
Summary and Comment: The DOJ Report states:
- Unidentified Branch Davidians From April 19 Fire … Doe 65, a baby girl, died of smoke and carbon monoxide inhalation. Her body was found in the bunker.
The Report does not remark on the skull fracture from shrapnel wounds.
