The Stage - Figure W5-4: This fanciful drawing shows a "Hay storage area" on the east side of the Center next to the building, as though any country person would store hay beside a residence. Moreover, a proper "hay barn" was on the property (Source: Figure W12-3). Figure W5-1 shows there was no hay storage structure on February 28, 1993. The "Cinder-block room" formed the base of the 4-story residential tower and was composed of steel-reinforced poured concrete, not cinder-blocks. Despite those and other errors, this illustration shows some important features of the Mt. Carmel Center. Note the buried schoolbus with underground access (as might be needed in a tornado). Note also the "fuel storage tanks" just south of the water tower, which may have been the 500 gallon reservoirs of diesel fuel that were intentionally ruptured by the FBI on about March 18.
